Pretty cool. TRULY a budget built car that actually wins races (not best paint, etc, LOL!!!) when it competes at a race (Hot Rod Drag Week)... STOCK 5.3 with CHEAP EMS, simple turbo setup, and running mid 9's.

Yes, I know it's an old video but it's still cool to see a car built for about the same price as some people charge for a turbo kit alone. These cornfed Neberskins don't need no steenkin FAST EMS or other big money "BLING BLING"!!!! ::lolz::

Heck, you guys probably have a slew of mid 9's cars under your belt; what are they? Haven't been keeping up on you so I have no clue what you have built. I know you have the 240 with no radiator support but what else have you guys done lately? What did the 240 run in the 1/4 anyway???

the twin turbo chevy II we did went 10.14 @141 with a 8" et street and a 6 spd on pump gas (713hp setting, we dynoed it on 20psi) KCIR couldnt let him go faster due to it not being certified and Chad didnt have his license.

the 240 has never ran the QTR just 1/8th however it did coast to a 10.03 @ 87 last year sometime

but hell who cares... we just build "bling bling" and "show cars" right :roll: ::why:: :roll: ::why::

And yes, the truckS he built are cool, too. No one really knew Jim when he had his pewter extended cab Silverado with the polished diamond plate tool box in the back. Supercharged 5.3 with a little nitrous and it ran 11.70's.

Just playing with you. Let's see some videos of your cars; I could not find them on YouTube because I know you guys have them hidden all stealth like. I typed 417 Motorsports but only came up with your 240 on the dyno with no pic of the dyno readout. I'm just curious, how much different does a Superflow read than a Mustang or DynoJet anyway? Never been around one in person so I'm curious.

Man, that really sucks that you guys appear to have forgotten your camera on EVERY day the real good times got turned by the cars; you need to make sure to have a cameraman there every time. That has to be depressing. What does the DJHP mean on the dyno screen? Obviously it CAN'T mean DynoJet since the dyno is a SuperFlow. Not Chris' initials, not yours so I'm confused. You guys aren't adding a ton of correction (25% or so) to get dynojet-like numbers on the dyno are you? I know there is no way you guys would be doing that; that would be extremely lame to manipulate a dyno to make the cars put down the numbers.... If you guys are in doubt, feel free to give Jim a call and he can get you on the Mustang Dyno at Percy's/SpeedTweekerz. We know it's dead accurate so you guys are more than welcome to come up if you have any doubts that your cars are making the power. I'd also like to see how SuperFlow numbers compare to Mustang numbers.

We all know dyno numbers mean nothing as it's the track times that matter the most. After all, we don't race on the dyno.....

That super flow dyno read within 22 HP (lower) of what the dynojet that was at the LSX race read with chris's car on it with the same tune up so i would say we are pretty damn close. Im not the dyno guy i dont know what it means. Nick said its based on a the SAE dynojet correction whatever that means.

he can set it up to read like whatever brand you like?? Seems as Dynojet is the baseline tho right? we all know a mustang dyno reads lower.

Just messing with you. Don't even understand why you said what you did at the beginning of this topic. The Fairmont may not make a ton of power but he's obviously doing a damn effective job of putting it to the ground since the car turned better times than the 1000+ hp cars you speak of. Just goes to show you that all the money and power to the tire in the world means nothing if you can't put it to the pavement. Whooptie doo. You guys have made some serious power. You have not, however, made seriously low ET's for said power at the track. The excuse of insufficient safety equipment grows almost as old as the "my naws didn't kick in" or the "my VTAK isn't hitting" excuse. Tons of people every day run their cars at the track without insufficient safety equipment and get videos/slips. Sure, you may only do it once but you can do it. Just get tired of hearing all about these cars but no evidence is ever produced to back up the claims. Wow. You made Supra numbers and ran Supra times. Congrats.....

Until you can post up some video or evidence that any of the cars you speak of ran the times you say, there's really no need for you to continue posting in this thread, is there? This Fairmont was built for cheap. It's a true junkyard 5.3 with an LS6 cam and it's pretty obvious that the money was spent where it should have been since the car has run mid 9's. That's the bottom line. I don't care how much hp the cars you had your hand in made. They aren't performing at the track the way they should with that amount of power; regardless whether it was due to insufficient safety equipment, improper suspension setup, or whatever else. Yeah, it looks perty but the object at the track is to get to the end first, not win a car show....

No Ecawk here. Here is why I did what I did in this post:

1. Blake is not a paying sponsor on this site BUT he's allowed to "advertise" on every post.
2. Blake loves to talk trash behind my back but typically seems like he won't say anything in public because he knows what he is saying about me is false.
3. He tells his customers or anyone that they "better not go to Ryan or your car will be blown up in a week". However, it appears that the opposite is the truth. GTO. Blown up. 240 with the 5.3 that was supposedly your friend, you guys blew him off for quite some time where he no longer likes you. Lee with the TA. Same thing as "pinky". I'm tired of Blake talking crap behind my back when what he says is false. IF you are good at tuning, you simply need to say "We are good, that is why you need to come to us" NOT "Ryan will blow your car up so you need to come to us". That's it.
4. This post was to show everyone what a somewhat budget minded build could do. HOwever, Blake decided he needed to come in and say that their cars built for 5+ times the money were bad ass. After that statement was made, there was NOTHING to back it up. NOTHING was shown that ran the times the butternut turd did. Yes, that throws the BS flag up for me.
5. Nope, I don't have anything but then again, I POSTED that I don't have anything that runs better than 15's in this topic, didn't I? I DO however have some cars I've tuned that run very well all over the place. Some of them people know about, some of them people don't know about. How many of the cars I've tuned have blown up? ZERO. ZERO in the damn near 10 years I've done it.
6. I don't give a s**t how your Camaro hooked. Corey's Camaro ran low 11's, too. WITH STOCK SUSPENSION. See, he knows how to drive a car so there was no need for all of the crutches. He drove his car for about 4 years with a bone stock LT1 block, rotating, and heads (yep, one of those POS LT1's, no LS1 here....) and beat more than his share of cars, too.

Why don't I have anything that goes fast? Well, I have learned a long time ago that real estate is a much better investment than a car. I learned you can't live in a car. I also learned that there is also always someone faster; I don't have to race my house. I also only need to please 2 people when I build or have a car. Myself and my wife. I don't have to please my nutswingers, I don't have to lie to people, sell stuff that isn't mine, or commit insurance fraud. You can leave that where it lies or you can keep going Blake. You have a problem with me, you need to get a hold of me and learn the FACTS before you run your damn mouth. Period. BTW, if I Google my name, people bitching about ME doesn't come up. Can you say the same about yourself? 5th result says Frack NO.
